Walnut Grove purchased a camper for a family that lost their home during Hurricane Helena. Through an organization that has identified over 500 families in need, we have "adopted" a family and will continue to provide prayers, supplies and support.
On December 21st, Randy Craig and Tim Aliff delivered the camper, along with a Blackstone grill, additional propane tanks, food, and supplies.
On January 17th through the 19th a team from our church served over 900 meals over the course of three days.
On January 31st we will deliver some generators.
Feb. 28th through March 2nd we will be serving food.
Many lost everything but the clothes on their back. We will provide updates on their needs and future deliveries, and missions trips.
We are accepting donations of items, see the tab "NC Relief Needs", or you may contribute money for us to purchase these items.
If you wish to contribute money to this mission, please mail a check to the church at the address listed below with "NC relief" or "hurricane relief" in the memo field.
