Walnut Grove has purchased a camper for a family that lost their home during Hurricane Helena. Through an organization that has identified over 500 families in need, we have "adopted" a family and will continue to provide prayers, supplies and support.
On December 21st, Randy Craig and Tim Aliff will deliver the camper, along with a Blackstone grill, additional propane tanks, food, and supplies.
Updates will be provided after the camper is delivered.
This is a moment for the Glory of God to shine. We know of over 500 families in need, and there may be more, but there are over 300,000 churches in America. If we all do something we can meet the needs of these dear people and do it all for the Glory of God.
James 2:15-17 says:
15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
This is not about Walnut Grove getting recognition, it is about helping those in need for the Glory of God.
